2. Helmets are required at all times when mounted.
3. No one is to use another person’s horse or equipment unless Angie has been notified.
4. No dripping wet horses in the barn. Wet cement is very dangerous.
5. No unsupervised riding of minors. A parent, instructor, or Angie must be present. No jumping school horses unless Angie is present.
6. Never leave a horse unattended on cross-ties.
7. Both boarders and lesson students must clean up after themselves. Put everything away, sweep the floor and if your horse defecates clean it up - stalls included.
8. If currently using Topcrest Stables equipment, please make plans to purchase your own. Topcrest Stables equipment will be reserved for their use only.
9. No riding on the driveways, parking areas or lawn. Riding is only permitted in the arenas. Riding on the trails and cross country course is permitted if horses are not turned out in that area. School horses are not permitted unless arranged with Angie prior to.
10. Please lunge outside, if weather permits.
11. No parking in front of the barn or on the lawn. All cars should be in the designated parking area.
12. No dogs allowed.
13. Lessons start at the scheduled time. Please be ready to ride or already in the arena riding at that time. If instructor helps with riding preparation that is considered your lesson time.
14. A no show policy is in effect for lessons. Barring an emergency or unusual circumstances, a 24 hour cancellation notice is required to avoid a service charge of $10.00.
15. Please put away all belongings. Any belongings that do not fit into your designated areas or you are not using, should be stored at home.
16. BARN HOURS: are from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm - Monday thru Saturday. Sunday hours are from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
17. Be sure water and lights are off before you leave.
18. Make sure you close all gates.
19. No horse play in the barn. This includes no running or screaming in the barn.
All of these rules apply to everyone and complete cooperation is necessary for the safety and comfort of all. We do have the most wonderful students, horses and boarders here. We hope to continue to provide the healthiest and safest environment for both rider and horse.
